Zyis Got Her First Car!

A cute little 1990 Honda Civic DX!!!!!! His name is pixel :3 [ remember this name *hint hint toward new OC* ] His back windshield wiper is broken, but this is a good thing, because I have a car that can wag it's tail XDDDD

Zyis Got Her First Job!

As of last Thursday I work in a cosmetic "warehouse". I use ""'s because it is a small building. A total of 15 employees. Though we ship out about 400 orders a day. My job is to scan the orders, print labels, and when there is time, help close them up. Sometimes at the end of the day when all the orders have been scanned I get to work on making free samples. ( I'm up to 720 samples. Yes I AM counting XD ) I am so thrilled to be working and I love the job! Hopefully it will push me even harder to use the little spare time I have now for my art <3 I'm still adjusting to the schedule but am working on getting a good routine of work, sleep, volunteering, spending time with friends and family, artwork, and exercise going. I have little doubt in my mind that by the end of this month I will be a pro at it all! ;3

but.... if it takes me a little longer than that I'm sure no one will complain haha.

Zyis Finished The Cello Case!

YESSSS!!!! Actually I finished it a little while ago but I've been SO BUSY with the car, job, and friends that I didn't have time to really ramble about it here until now. OH WOW did this little baby eat up my life for a short while. It was SO worth it and I would do it all again in a heartbeat (if I had the time)

Anywho ~oysterstar, Rebecca, (~ShiverBeast's sister) commissioned it from me. My deadline was a friend of our's wedding! Well more like the rehearsal diner since Rebecca would be playing her cello and needed the case for transportation. Here are some images from the wedding of us with the cello case. And oh yes, that IS me DANCING with the case at the reception!!!!

Hey Zyis, How are you doing? Nice work on the cello case! I just got paid, and I've given up on my Original characters, So I was wondering if I could pay the other half or my chibi commission for a piece of my WoW character. I'll show you some screenshots of him if you're interested.

Sure thing Nikki! ((( I sooooooooo forgot all about this piece until I read this message ^^; ))) but yeah, go ahead and send me a note here on DA with some reference and remind me again which style this is for XP I think it is the Chibi O1 but I want to be sure. After I look over your character and everything I'll add you to my commission list and get started as soon as I can. Though don't hold your breath on how soon you'll get it because, as I'm about to write a journal entry about it, I recently got a job and now I have a LOT of my time getting eaten up.

Lol so did I! xD Oh, Looks like I'll have a reference for my OC after all! As soon as that commission's done I'll send you the info and reference for the piece. (Yeah, it was the Chibi 01 style) And i think i need to pay you another $6 or whatever for it, seeing as I've only paid you half so far.

I wanted to tell you that my cello teacher and his family went nuts over the case. His wife was like, "Tom, why don't you get something like that done with your case?!" He scoffed and said, "I don't have that kind of money!" Lol.
